By Train

TRAVELLING TO HALESWORTH – let the train take the strain

We are incredibly well-served for trains with an hourly service to and from London Liverpool Street via Ipswich and from Norwich via Lowestoft. It is more environmentally friendly than coming by car and you don’t need to park

The station is situated a 3 minute walk from our main venue The Cut and a further 10 minutes into the town venues.

This year POD 2 the Bus Space will be parked at the Station, spaces are limited to get there early for a ticket!

**** NEW FOR 2025 – INK ARE PROVIDING FREE PARK & RIDE FROM HOLTON LODGE BARN,****

The walk from Park and Ride into Halesworth is approximately 25 minutes

We have FREE Park & Ride at Holton Lodge Barn on Holton Road 1km from Halesworth - get there early grab breakfast and watch one of 2 special 20 minute breakfast shows running repeatedly between 09:30 and 11:30 every day.

A Shuttle bus will take people from Holton to the Cut in the mornings and return bus will run in the afternoons. The bus is unable to take wheelchairs. There is disabled parking on firm ground at the front of Holton Lodge Barn which is open till midday.

The Car Park is open till 22:00, but will be very dark after sunset. Please note the car park is on a field and the ground is uneven.

There are car parks in Halesworth with disabled parking and regular paid parking spots. Be careful - Parking Wardens are often in Halesworth at festival time

The Black Dog Festival Restaurant - Upstairs in the Cut Arts Centre

Locally sourced food and drink at the Black Dog Festival Restaurant, 2nd Floor of The Gallery at the Cut. With Suffolk Coffee Company locally roasted coffee, teas and hot chocolate.

The Tap Room

Showcasing East Anglian breweries. Beers. ales and soft drinks will be available while the restaurant is open.
Cut Café in the Foyer

Serving snacks, drinks and light meals.
Café 10.00 - 16:00

Bar open during the day, before evening performances and during intervals.
Rural Coffee Caravan - POD 9 & 10

Will be at the Rifle Hall Stage serving hot Drinks and cakes before and after performances. The RCC will be raising money to help combat loneliness and rural isolation in Suffolk.
The Stack Shack - POD 1

The Stack Shack will be at Holton Lodge Barn and Park & Ride. Get a coffee and a roll and stay to watch the Breakfast Bites @ The Barn.
Traditional bacon sandwiches, fresh coffee and tea, and a selection of pastries. Open 09:00-11:00.
Then hop on the shuttle bus into Halesworth for the rest of the venues. Walking distance 20-25 minutes.
Light Bites and Drinks at the Angel Hotel - Poetry and POD 12

Grab a drink or a light bite to enjoy while you watch the Poets or the Play Readings at the Angel Stage.
A bar and lunch menu is available from 12:15 - please order in advance of the Poetry Performances which start at 13:00
In the evenings grab a glass of something to drink during the Play Readings in Pod 12
