Accessibility Policy

Our Commitment

INK is committed to making our performances, events, and activities accessible and welcoming to all. We believe theatre should be inclusive and barrier-free wherever reasonably possible.

We are committed to continuous improvement and to listening to our audiences, artists, and community.

Access to Performances

We aim to:

• Provide step-free access to performance spaces wherever available
• Offer wheelchair-accessible seating (where venue facilities allow)
• Provide accessible toilet facilities where available at venues
• Ensure clear signage and staff support for audience members

As we often perform in shared or hired venues, accessibility may vary. We will clearly communicate venue-specific access information in advance of each event.

Communication & Information

We aim to:

• Provide clear access information on our website and promotional materials
• Offer information in alternative formats upon request (e.g. large print, digital copy)
• Respond promptly to access enquiries

Access Support

Where possible and based on demand, we will aim to:

• Provide content notes and trigger warnings in advance
• Support the use of assistance dogs
• Welcome essential companions (discounted tickets where possible)

Audience members are encouraged to contact us in advance to discuss specific access needs so we can make reasonable adjustments.

Inclusive Practice

INK is committed to:

• Creating an inclusive and respectful environment
• Supporting disabled artists and practitioners
• Considering accessibility at all stages of production planning
• Reviewing our access practices regularly
