Esther Freud

Esther trained as an actress before becoming a writer. She is the author of 10 novels, her first, Hideous Kinky, was made into a film starring Kate Winslet, and her most recent, My Sister And Other Lovers, was published in July 2025. Also a play, Stitchers, and a children’s picture book, set in Walberswick:Enchanted Beach.
